Some people may call certain ghosts different things
Often very aggressive, but can easily be confused with other ghosts. Known for possession, and acting 'nice' to gain trust, or constantly lying.
The poltergiest is the fan favorite. They are very interactive with the environment, often messing with lights and shifting objects.
Funnels are associated with cold spots, and mist form(a mist that a ghost created). They are very attached to their favorite place, often a room or building.
Usually harmless, they are the spirits of the deceased. They often appear with certain clothes, marks, or smell, usally relating to how they died.
personally, I do not like banshee's, due to previous encounters. They are known for their horrifying scream. There is a legend that they are women who died, and sing tragic songs about love in a female voice.
A dark, shadowy entity, often appearing right after death. Might give a sense of dread and doom.
A very vengeful spirit, known to haunt their enemies. Also noted to curse the living, sometimes appearing as a solid figure.
A horrifying, 2-dimensional ghost, often manifesting in bedrooms, watching you sleep. Often very fast, and shy, not wanting to be seen. Sometimes just visions. May also manifest in sleep paralysis, like the Hat man.
